The meeting was held on Sunday, September 3, 2006, on Betty Clark's deck. It was called to order at 1:18 p.m. by President Grace Bartel. This meeting immediately followed the YWPHI Annual Meeting during which one new board member was elected (Jody Brady), and Grace Bartel was re-elected to 3-year terms. Carol Ruiz resigned from the Board in order to assume responsibilities for the treasury in March 2007. All seven Board member positions are filled.

Approval of the June 17, 2006 minutes was postponed until the next Board meeting.
Volunteers for all offices and committee chairs were requested, and all positions were filled as listed below.
An updated listing of contact addresses and phone numbers for the board will be distributed by Grace via email.
Future Board meetings will be held on the following dates at 10 a.m. unless otherwise noted:
Issues of primary importance for this year include water quality, fire safety, and an ordinance to reduce fuel load on vacant lots.
Missing mailbox keys was discussed; Grace volunteered to acquire 3 replacement tumblers and coordinate installation with Scott Loberg (mailman).
Our future Supervisor, Brad Aborn, was invited to the 2006 Annual Meeting, but was unable to attend. An invitation to attend the Holiday Home Tour should be extended to Mr. Aborn soon, since dates around Christmas tend to fill-up quickly.
It was the opinion of Board members that CDF did not perform their usual fire inspection of structures in Yosemite West this year.
Kay Pitts informed the Board that she has requested that a sign be placed at the entrance to our development at Highway 41 which identifies the access road as "Henness Ridge Road".
Next YWPHI Board Meeting: The next YWPHI Board of Directors meeting will be held on November 4, 2006 at 10 a.m. Please notify Grace if you have a schedule conflict with this date, or any other meeting dates.
